I spearheaded the development of an enterprise supply chain solution for the largest retail chain in Bangladesh, designed specifically to digitize the entire after-sales lifecycle for perishable items. The core business problem was that demand quantities given to vendors were completely invisible throughout the fulfillment cycle. Rejected items could not be systematically tracked for vendor quality ratings, and business opportunity losses due to under-fulfillment remained unquantified. Communication was fragmented across phone calls and WhatsApp, leading to massive inefficiencies. My approach involved deep requirement analysis and process mapping using Visio to understand the pain points of outlet managers and category teams. I then engineered a multi-stakeholder platform architecture featuring modules for Demand Declaration, Delivery Verification (including strict QC rejection tracking), Sales Reconciliation, and Wastage Management. I utilized Figma to prototype the user interfaces, ensuring high adoption rates among non-technical staff. The outcome was a centralized, data-driven platform that provides real-time visibility into vendor performance and fulfillment rates. We achieved 100% tracking of demand versus delivery for perishables, enabled data-backed vendor ratings based on actual rejection rates, and successfully quantified lost business opportunities. This system fundamentally transformed how the retail chain manages its perishable goods vendors, replacing chaos with structured, actionable data.
