Dokane POS is a high-performance, cloud-based point-of-sale system engineered specifically for modern retailers. The primary business problem we addressed was that local retailers were heavily burdened by slow manual billing processes, extremely weak inventory visibility across multiple store locations, and a complete lack of actionable reporting tools. This led to stockouts, revenue leakage, and poor customer experiences at the checkout counter. In my role, I owned the end-to-end product lifecycle. My methodology started with deep user research to define critical features and map out efficient workflows. I collaborated closely with the engineering and design teams to ensure the UI/UX was intuitive enough for fast-paced retail environments. Furthermore, I led the Quality Assurance (QA) efforts, implementing rigorous manual testing protocols to ensure system stability under heavy loads. The solution we delivered is a robust cloud POS capable of handling high transaction volumes seamlessly, featuring real-time inventory synchronization and comprehensive reporting dashboards. The outcome was highly impactful: the system currently maintains stability while processing over 100,000 monthly retail transactions. We significantly reduced average checkout times, improving customer satisfaction, and drastically reduced production bugs through my rigorous QA leadership, resulting in a highly reliable enterprise product.
